Rotaract in Doncaster is restarting after several years without a Rotaract club. http://www.doncasterclassiccarshow.org.uk/article.aspx?id=29&r=rss Sue Ryder Care runs Hickleton Hall near Doncaster for people with life limiting neurological illnesses (e.g. multiple sclerosis) or brain injuries. Our grant will help towards the purchase of an additional specially adapted minibus. http://www.doncasterclassiccarshow.org.uk/article.aspx?id=28&r=rss St. Francis Xavier Primary School in Balby runs various adventurous educational visits to help their children in their learning and development. They meet in a safe and friendly atmosphere to socialise and promote their confidence and self-esteem. Our grant will help with the costs of artistic and other materials. http://www.doncasterclassiccarshow.org.uk/article.aspx?id=26&r=rss The Live at Home Scheme enables elderly people to remain in their own homes with the help of volunteers who may visit them or by means of their drop-in sessions. The grant will help to support the volunteers. http://www.doncasterclassiccarshow.org.uk/article.aspx?id=25&r=rss Faith and Light (Doncaster) is the local branch of an international movement which seeks to help people with learning disabilities and their carers live as full a life a life as possible by celebrating and enjoying the company of each other and other members of their local community. Our grant will help towards the cost of tai-chi sessions which gives sufferers a gentle and therapeutic form of exercise. http://www.doncasterclassiccarshow.org.uk/article.aspx?id=21&r=rss Amputees of Doncaster and District (ADD) offer support and friendship to amputees, their families and friends. In 1988, the World Health Assembly challenged the world to eradicate polio.
